Join me for a fun, family-oriented group hike suitable for all ages and abilities. You choose the distance and elevation—this is your adventure at your own pace.

I’ll bring the essentials to keep everyone comfortable and safe, including snacks (and plenty of homemade chocolate chip cookies 🍪), bug spray, sunscreen, bear spray, a basic first-aid kit, and a solid understanding of most Sierra trails.

You bring your water bottles, good hiking shoes, walking sticks, backpacks, and sunglasses—plus kids old enough to carry their own snacks, well-behaved puppies 🐾, and anything else that makes you feel great.

Let’s trade screen time for fresh air, mountain views, and a few sweet treats along the way. See you on the trail!

Join us for a Friday Fun Hike for a Cause, a relaxed and social adventure through the beautiful Sierra Lakes Basin. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the mountains, connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts, and give back to a meaningful cause.

Choose from a selection of scenic and rewarding trails, with the final route tailored to the group’s ability and interests. Well-behaved, trail-loving dogs are welcome—after all, this hike supports the very companions who make our lives better.

Join me for the Sierra - Lakes Basin Adventure Hike, an adults-focused outing designed for those camping in the area or gathering with friends and family who want to step beyond the campsite and immerse themselves in the rugged beauty of the mountains. Whether you’re ready for a steady climb, a high-alpine lake destination, or a rewarding summit with sweeping views, this hike is about embracing the adventure that makes the Sierra unforgettable.

Choose from some of the region’s most iconic and rewarding trails:

  • Lakes Basin Rim Loop – expansive alpine vistas and a challenging, scenic loop

  • Packer Saddle to Deer Lake – a forested climb leading to a serene alpine gem

  • Tamarack Rim Connector – a steady ascent with breathtaking views of the surrounding lakes

  • Sierra Buttes Fire Lookout – a bucket-list climb culminating in panoramic summit views

  • Round Lake | Bear Lake Trail – A beautiful alpine journey featuring crystal-clear lakes and classic Sierra scenery.

  • Smith Lake Loop – A scenic and invigorating loop offering peaceful forest sections and stunning lake views.

  • Mount Elwell Loop – A more challenging option with sweeping panoramic vistas and a true sense of Sierra adventure.

I’ll bring trail expertise, navigation support, snacks (including my famous homemade chocolate chip cookies 🍪), along with essentials like bug spray, sunscreen, bear spray, and a basic first-aid kit.

You bring your sense of adventure, sturdy hiking shoes, water and hydration, a backpack, walking sticks if desired, sunglasses, and anything else that makes you feel strong and ready for the trail. A camera or celebratory summit beverage is always welcome!
